Susan’s practice focuses primarily upon the areas of estate and charitable planning, estate and trust administration, complex trust and tax issues, including the preparation, review, and the implementation of sophisticated estate plans, wills, trusts and numerous estate, charitable and income tax returns.

Her considerable legal experience in private practice, as well as with several corporate trustees, give her a unique perspective on planning for wealthy business owners, as well as resolution of issues arising in complicated trust administration and fiduciary matters. In addition, her prior experience working at a small business, provided her with the opportunity to better understand her clients’ needs from the perspective of a small business owner.

Susan volunteers her time as a member of numerous charitable lineage societies, which promote historic preservation, education, and patriotism. Her memberships include the Daughters of the American Revolution, Colonial Dames of America, English Speaking Union and the Welcome Society. In addition, she currently serves as Treasurer of both the Tilton Preservation Society in Wilmington, DE and the Jeptha Abbott Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and also serves as a board member of the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick.
